Toonaangevend componist en choreografisch toptalent in voorstelling over de verpixeling van de wereld. “Wubkje Kuindersma, onthoud die naam”, schreef de Volkskrant naar aanleiding van haar choreografie voor Het Nationale Ballet. Kuindersma’s naam zingt rond in de Nederlandse danswereld. Ook in het buitenland timmert ze stevig aan de weg en wordt ze gevraagd door vele gerenommeerde gezelschappen. Voor Bitcrusher gaat dit toptalent een spannende samenwerking aan met Anthony Fiumara, een van de meest gevierde componisten in de Nederlandse nieuwe muziek. Uitgangspunt is de verpixeling van de wereld: de analoge werkelijkheid vervloeit steeds meer met de digitale. Hoewel beide werelden naar elkaar verlangen, verdwijnt er onmiskenbaar informatie in de vertaling. Hoe verhouden ons analoge lichaam en ziel zich met hun gebitcrushte evenbeeld? In een gretige wisselwerking tussen dans en muziek gaan Kuindersma en Fiumara op zoek naar een antwoord.

Although both worlds long for each other, information unmistakably gets lost in translation. How do our analogue body and soul relate to their bitcrushed image? NEWS: DUE TO the CORONA-outbreak, Korzo has to close her doors and the premiere of Bitcrusher has been delayed till further notice. Update: The performance has been cancelled by Korzo due to Covid19.
