PROMETHEUS PROJECTThis is a joint project by choreographers Wubkje Kuindersma, Ernst Meisner and Remi Wörtmeyer.
Made at Dutch National Ballet and Holland Dance Festival. The programme is filled with "Prometheus" by Wubkje Kuindersma, a solo inspired by the inner fire we carry as people. Followed by "Eagle" by Ernst Meisner, a solo in which you see the flight of the Eagle on its way to punish Prometheus for stealing the fire and the program will end with "Prometheus’ Flame" by Remi Wörtmeyer a solo in which he shows two sides of the fire. The solo's are set to Beethoven's 32 Variations in C minor, played by pianist Michael Mouratch. The project is captured on film by Altin Kaftira.
